“Living History Farmstead Day,” featuring an 1850s Haypress demonstration, is an O’Bannon Woods State Park special attraction. The family-friendly event takes place at the Hickory Hollow Nature Center in the state park, which is west of Corydon. The Haypress is run by the park’s short-horned oxen. Farmstead Day also includes a working blacksmith shop, pioneer homestead, tomahawk throwing and a variety of pioneer demonstrations.
